The first and foremost reason to get a Sony Xperia Play is because you need a phone for staying in touch with others. Now, if you purchase certain accessories for you iPod Touch, like a microphone, and download certain services like Skype, you'll be able to use it as a phone. Now, if you're looking for a device that was designed to be a phone in the first place without having all those features added as merely an afterthought, then you might just want to choose the device that was made to be a phone: Sony Xperia Play.
But when you're looking for entertainment, this is where comparison may begin to ensue.
